Private Client - One Dalton Residence

BDG is fortunate to work on a broad range of projects with an amazing array of individuals. We are always excited when our work for a client’s company or institution leads to them asking us to help them design their personal home. The One Dalton residence is one of these projects. We had worked for over a decade designing new buildings and restoring historic buildings for the leader of one of the world’s most admired institutions. When he and his wife decided to move into the city, BDG was asked to help them design a home for the next chapter of their lives.
This residence is located on one of the top floors of this new residential tower, offering panoramic views of Boston and Cambridge. The One Dalton Developers had offered a few material pallets for Owners to select from, but this client asked that BDG help them create a new design that was special and aligned with their tastes.
The construction of this residence was completed as the overall building tower created by the Developer was approximately 80% complete. The residence was completed and furnished just as the overall building was making plans for the Grand Opening Event. The client has enjoyed their new residence with its amazing views, Four Seasons Hotel Services, and Security.
